Abstract
The nose is in the shape of a pyramid, which is the most prominent and characteristic feature of the human face.

Rhinoplasty has come one of the most common operation in plastic surgery. The most difficult aspect of conventional rhinoplasty is cenceptualizing a three-dimensional form and operating on that form while it is displaced from its normal location.

Our open rhinoplasty technique is applied through columella lift incision. This open technique allows visualization of the nasal skeleton and effect relationship between manipulation of those internal structures and the external appearance.

The major advantages of the open rhinoplasty technique are;

1 .The imporved visualization of entire cartilarginous and/or bony vaults.

2. When a high septal deviation procedures a twisted tip, the septum can more easily be approached and corrected through open rhinoplasty technique.

3. Bleeding control is improved.

We experienced 18 cases of corrective rhinoplasty through open rhinoplasty technique and recognized that this technique can provide many district advantage than conventional closed technique.
